Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of RetroPic ("Restore Old Photos: AI Revive", "the app"), developed by Oleksandr Sashchuk ("we"). By using the app, you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with Apple's agreement, these Terms apply to the extent allowed.

The service

RetroPic uses artificial intelligence to restore, colorize, enhance and upscale photos you choose. Results are generated automatically. They are an interpretation of your photo and may differ from the original scene, colors or people.

Credits

• Each new device receives 1 free credit.
• Each processed photo uses 1 credit.
• Subscriptions add credits: 10 credits per week on the weekly plan and 30 credits per month on the monthly plan.
• At each renewal, your balance is reset to the plan amount. Unused credits do not carry over to the next period.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.

If processing fails, the credit may not be returned automatically. Contact us and we will restore it.

Subscriptions and payments

• Subscriptions are purchased through your Apple ID and charged by Apple.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by country.

Your photos and content

• You keep all rights to the photos you upload and to the results.
• You may only upload photos that you own or have the right to edit.
• You give us a limited permission to store and process your photos only to provide the service. Uploaded photos are deleted from our storage within 24 hours, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload illegal content or content that violates the rights of others,
• use the app to create misleading images of real people that could cause them harm,
• attempt to reverse engineer, overload or disrupt the service,
• abuse free credits, for example by automated reinstalls.

We may suspend access if these Terms are violated.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that results will meet your expectations. AI results can contain errors and invented details. Keep your original photos.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above. If you continue to use the app after changes, you accept the updated Terms.
